1. To cater to the primary need of shelter, food, clothing, medical treatment and care of the women in distress and who are without any social and economic support.
2. To enable them to regain their emotional strength that gets hampered due to their encounter with unfortunate circumstances.
3. To provide them with legal aid and guidance to enable them to take steps for their readjustment in family/society.
4. To rehabilitate them economically and emotionally.
5. To act as a support system that understands and meets various requirements of women in distress.
6. To enable them to start their life afresh with dignity and conviction.

1. To prevent trafficking of women and children for commercial sexual exploitation through social mobilization,
2. To facilitate rescue of victims,
3. To provide rehabilitation services both immediate and long-term to the victims ,
4. To facilitate repatriation or reintegration of the victims
5. Psycho-social & Legal counselling to the registered women victims.

The legal assistance requirements of the beneficiaries shall be met through the District Legal Services Authority(DLSA). In case such assistance is not available is not available from DLSA, the implementing organization will arrange alternative suitable legal assistance.

Health Check up and medical facilities will be tied up with local civil hospital/CHC/PHC. However, implementing organization should engage a part time doctor for Swadhar Greh who should visit the shelter home at least once in a week to ensure general health of the inmates.

Arrangement would be made by the implementing organization for providing vocational training to the women through the Vocational Training Institutes recognized by Directorate General of Employment and Training under the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
